Paul Woodhouse, CA
Business Valuator, Financial Analyst

Paul Woodhouse has been the Senior Financial Analyst at First Key for the past several years. After earning an Honors degree in Business Administration (First Class), Paul was recruited to work with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he earned a Chartered Accounting and a Chartered Business Valuators designation in his first three years on the job. Over the next several years, Paul enjoyed working with a select group of peers, building the PWC financial advisory services practice in Vancouver. During this period, Paul provided a wide range of transactional support services, both as a independent expert opinion provider and as a financial advisor in an advocacy role, as well as litigation support services.

Following a successful career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Paul formed his own practice to focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate securities valuations, and venture capital funding proposals. Paul has recently completed his second term as President of the B.C. Chapter of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators, and has written articles and organized conferences and educational seminars on the subject of business valuation.

Recent Assignments
Recent assignments have included valuations and fairness opinions for two of Canada’s leading regional craft brewers, and an overseas investment opportunity evaluation for Molson Breweries, a brewery turnaround study in the United States, financial due diligence on a Russian brewery and the valuation of a regional craft brewer in California.
